- Take off the case and pull out the SIM tray
- Pat the outside dry with a towel
- Skip the rice and the hair dryer: rice leaves dust and heat can damage the screen and battery

We open the phone, look for liquid and corrosion, clean the board and test the screen, battery, charging, cameras and speakers. Then we tell you what's working, what needs replacing and what it costs. You decide before we do any paid work.
Your photos come first
If the phone can't be saved, tell us whether the data matters most. We'll focus on getting it to turn on long enough to back up your photos and contacts.

Look for the Phone Plus kiosk at the entrance to Coles and Liquorland Warehouse. Bring your device straight to the counter. Most Apple repairs don't need a booking.
Parking is free. Tooronga Village has an undercover car park, so there's no hunting for a spot or paying for a meter like closer to the city.

Water damage repair FAQ
My phone is water resistant. Why did it get damaged?
Water resistance wears down as phones age, after drops, and after a screen or back glass has been replaced. Salt water, pool water and hot showers are harder on the seals too.
Can you guarantee it will work again?
No one honestly can. It depends on what the liquid was and how long it sat inside. Bringing it in quickly gives it the best chance.
How much does it cost?
Checking it is free. After we've opened it, we'll give you a price for what it needs before going ahead.
Is water damage covered by warranty?
No. Our warranty covers faults with the parts we fit, not liquid damage.
