Check your battery health
Open System Settings, then Battery, and click the info button next to Battery Health. For the cycle count, hold Option, click the Apple menu, open System Information and choose Power. A high cycle count together with "Service Recommended" means it is time.
Swollen battery? Stop using it
If the trackpad is pushed up or the bottom case doesn't sit flat, the battery is swelling. Shut the Mac down, don't charge it, and bring it in. A swollen battery can damage the trackpad and the case if it's left in.

How long does it take?
Many MacBook batteries are glued in, so the job takes a few hours. With the part in stock it's often same day. We'll confirm when we quote.
Is it worth replacing the battery on an older MacBook?
Usually, yes. If the Mac is otherwise running well, a battery costs far less than a new laptop and brings back all-day use.
What warranty do I get?
