Common iPhone 13 mini problems we fix
The iPhone 13 mini came out in 2021, and phones that age start to show wear in ports, buttons and batteries. Here's what we see most often.
Water damage
Water damage is fixable more often than people think, especially when it's caught early. We check your iPhone 13 mini for free and quote before any work.
Motherboard and no power
No power, stuck on the logo or restarting by itself? We diagnose iPhone 13 mini logic board faults and do board-level repairs where a fix is possible.
Data recovery
We recover data from iPhone 13 mini phones that won't turn on, won't unlock or have liquid damage, where the chip is still readable.
Cameras, lens and flash
If the camera app shakes, buzzes or shows black, the camera module may be faulty. We test your iPhone 13 mini's cameras and torch and quote by SMS.
Calls, speaker and microphone
Quiet or crackling speaker, muffled calls or voice messages with no sound: we repair speakers, earpieces and microphones on the iPhone 13 mini.
No signal, SIM, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth
If your iPhone 13 mini keeps dropping signal or won't find Wi-Fi or Bluetooth devices, bring it in. We check settings first, then the antennas and board.
Power and volume buttons
Stuck, loose or unresponsive power button and volume buttons on the iPhone 13 mini? We replace the button flex so they click properly again.
Back glass
Back glass cracks spread over time. Getting the iPhone 13 mini's back replaced early keeps water and dust out.
Face ID and front camera
Front camera blurry or Face ID stopped working on your iPhone 13 mini? We check whether it's the camera, the sensor flex or the earpiece assembly.
Not charging or charging port
A loose or dead Lightning port is one of the most common repairs we do. Bring your iPhone 13 mini in and we'll tell you in a few minutes whether it needs a clean or a new port.
Accessories. Protect your iPhone 13 mini after the repair: we sell cases (including MagSafe cases), tempered glass screen protectors, fast chargers, Lightning cables and car phone holders.
Near you. Customers bring their iPhone 13 mini to us from Kooyong, Toorak, Armadale, Ashburton, Burwood and Ashwood, and Tooronga Village has a free undercover car park.
iPhone 13 mini repair FAQ
How long does an iPhone 13 mini screen replacement take?
Usually about 30 minutes. You can leave your phone with us and shop at Tooronga Village while we work.
Do I need to book?
Most iPhone repairs don't need a booking. Send us an SMS first to confirm we have your part in stock.
Will I lose my photos and data?
A screen or battery replacement doesn't erase your device. We still recommend a backup before any repair.
What does the warranty cover?
Screens and most repairs have a 3 month warranty, and batteries have 6 months. It covers faults with the part. It doesn't cover new physical damage, such as a drop, or water damage.
Will my iPhone show a message about the new screen?
On recent iPhones, iOS shows an "Unknown Part" notice in Settings after any screen that isn't an Apple genuine part is fitted. The screen and touch still work normally.
How much do you charge to check my device?
Nothing. We don't charge a diagnostic fee.
